Yes — some Bauerfeind products have specific return restrictions due to hygiene, personal-use design, or customisation. These items cannot be returned under any circumstances.

These guidelines help protect patient safety and maintain medical-grade product standards.


Products that cannot be returned

The following product types are not eligible for return:

  • Compression socks/stockings

  • Insoles

  • Custom-made products (created to a patient’s measurements or clinical requirements)

  • Special orders (items ordered in specifically for a patient’s preference, such as colour or non-stocked sizes)

  • Sale or clearance items (final sale)

These items cannot be resold or safely assessed once opened or handled, which is why they are excluded from the return process.


Helping your patients choose confidently

To support the best outcome, partners are encouraged to:

  • Complete sizing checks in clinic

  • Guide patients on correct fitting and use

  • Remind patients to try products gently at home or in clinic

  • Confirm expected use before dispensing items in excluded categories

This helps ensure your patient receives the right product from the start.
