Does Bauerfeind offer product fitment services?Updated 2 years ago

Bauerfeind’s Clinical Service Commitment has been established as a key component of our partnership services to our allied health partners to drive and spearhead excellence in patient care. This is built on the foundation of Bauerfeind's service guarantee to clinicians and patients to only provide support in the recommendation of suitable products, but also offer technical and product fitment services to ensure that such products are tailored for patients to encourage positive outcomes during recovery. 

Bauerfeind offer product fitment services for a selected range of serious braces that require calibration for individual patients and personalised modifications to optimise efficacy, comfort, and fit. The below table presents the main lineup of ready-made serious braces and orthoses for which Bauerfeind offer product fitment services.

For Sydney-based clients, Bauerfeind can coordinate for a technician to visit the clinic and fit, tailor, and assess the brace for a patient. Visitations to clinics are by appointment only, and a suitable date and time must be consolidated at least one week in advance to ensure adequate planning. Please note that consultation fees may apply for call-out services. 

Virtual product fitment sessions can also be organized for Sydney-based, interstate, and New Zealand-based patients, in which a trained Bauerfeind technician can supervise, direct, and/ or guide a product fitment, as well as provide technical support and answer any inquiries or concerns.
