Do Bauerfeind products come with a warranty?Updated 2 years ago
Bauerfeind is committed to providing a diverse collection of products that represent and reflect a commitment to high-quality solutions backed by technological investment to produce a premium range with longevity and durability. Bauerfeind's Product Guarantee signifies our assurance in the superior quality of our products, and our confidence in their long-term quality standard and reliability against defects.
This is backed by a manufacture's warranty which is included for all purchases of ready-made Bauerfeind products, and vary according to the category of product. The following warranty periods apply from the date of purchase:
- Orthopaedic products (including braces and supports): 12 months
- Insoles: 3 months
- Compression Garments: 6 months
- Clearance items: 3 months
Please observe the following conditions that disqualify a product from the manufacturer warranty:
- General wear and tear caused by daily and regular usage of the product
- Demonstrable lack of adherence to standards and recommendations of care and preservation for the product
Coordinating a Warranty
We highly recommend establishing contact with a member of Bauerfeind to clarify whether your product is eligible for warranty. For any matters related to the claiming of warranty, please provide the following information to orders@bauerfeind.com.au:
- The order or invoice number for the associated order
- A brief description of the perceived defect to the product
- The context of use of the product when the damage was discovered
- At least three images of the defect
- The lot number for the product (this is a 10 digit numeric code printed on the back of the product tag)
Lodgement and Outcome of a Warranty Claim
Upon receipt of the above required details, a member of the orders team will lodge a warranty claim on your behalf with Bauerfeind Germany, and the duration to receive an outcome of a warranty claim will vary depending upon the product. A successful warranty claim will incur one of the following outcomes:
- The affected product(s) will be replaced with a product in brand new and unused condition
- A refund totalling the value of the affected item will be issued in the form of a credit note to be applied to any subsequent order
